A downloadable tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux

2D VTubing, for everyone

Using the open source Inochi2D model format, Inochi Session allows you to stream using models you've rigged with Inochi Creator. Using face tracking applications like VTubeStudio, MeowFace, VMC and OpenSeeFace, your models will synchronize to your real-life movements.

Development is ongoing and community driven, feel free to drop by our Discord Server to talk with the developers and fellow users. You can also follow development on our Twitter.

NOTE: Inochi Session currently only supports the Inochi2D model format, you can rig a model for this format using the Inochi Creator application.

Install instructions

Windows

Download and Extract the ZIP file, when adding a source to your Virtual Space make sure to give Inochi Session firewall permissions, otherwise it will not be able to connect to your face tracker.
It is highly recommended that you install the Spout2 OBS Plugin.

Linux

Make sure to have SDL2, Freetype and EGL installed on your system, then download and run the AppImage. Inochi Session is set up to use a transparent framebuffer on Linux, you may experience glitchy graphics on Wayland in the viewport, but capturing the Window using XComposite in OBS should look fine.

NOTE

Inochi Session is still in beta, features are missing and you may encounter bugs.
